“Numb” - rope - March 2019

“Numb” was a project over a year in the making, as Nick used his body and art to express the immense sense of loss and emotional defeat he couldn’t say in words. Technically and emotionally difficult as it was to create and perform, “Numb”, moving to the song on repeat became a means of catharsis to Nick, and he hopes this act reaches into the hearts of his audience and helps them heal from previous traumas.

aerial rope solo for acrobatic conundrum’s “unraveling”

Nick revised his rope solo “Numb” to perform across the entire stage utilizing three ropes to All That Remains’ metal instrumental “Regret Not”. It was a fun challenge to adapt his performance from a dance/electronic song with lyrical emphasis to instrumental heavy metal; however the character and feeling from “Numb” still shines through with Nick’s powerful use of body language and expression.
